Meet the designer
My love for fashion began in my childhood home, surrounded by endless cornfields. We lived in the heart of nature, where time seemed to slow down. I could completely lose myself in the moment, listening to the rustling trees and the sound of birds in the distance. It sparked my creativity — I was always creating something.
My mother quickly taught me how to use a sewing machine, and I still remember trying to make a pair of trousers by stitching a round tunnel… and as you can imagine — it didn’t fit at all. (Luckily, I’ve improved quite a bit since then ;) )
Creativity was everywhere in our home. My parents were always working on projects — renovating, gardening, fixing cars — truly anything was possible. It’s safe to say creativity was part of my upbringing from the very beginning.

How It Began
After graduating from secondary school in Nijmegen, I decided to spend a year in Australia to travel and work. After a few months, I found a job with an eccentric fashion designer in Melbourne — and instantly felt at home.
In the atelier behind her boutique, I was given the responsibility to sew and finish evening gowns almost immediately. Before long, I became her full-time right hand, learning the craft in a truly hands-on environment.
Out of the Box
I developed quickly, driven by how much I loved working creatively with clients. When I returned to the Netherlands, I initially struggled to find a study that truly matched me. Having completed a pre-university education, the natural path led more towards theoretical studies.
I chose to study Tourism Management & Consultancy at university level, specializing in Marketing & Communication — a field where I could still express my creativity. Yet throughout my studies, my creative drive never faded.
During this time, I designed countless out-of-the-box outfits for the club Now & Wow in Rotterdam. I experimented endlessly — combining vintage hoop skirts with red lace and white pillowcases, creating bold, artistic pieces.
Alongside my studies, I traveled extensively, which shaped my open-minded view on life and continues to influence my work to this day.

Creating Couture
After completing my degree, I pursued a Bachelor in International Business Communication in Nijmegen. Once I had built that foundation, I chose to fully follow my creative path.
I enrolled in a four-year fashion program, where I specialized in pattern making, lingerie, and couture techniques, alongside a styling course at NTI.
During this period, I worked on various theatre and dance productions, creating costumes and designs. In 2010, I was hired as a fashion designer by couturier Olga Buise of L’Ago B. There, I created numerous bespoke couture wedding dresses for clients, as well as artistic collections for fashion shows.
A Lifelong Passion
My travels became a defining element of my signature style, reflected in the freedom and fluidity of my designs. I continuously seek the perfect balance between the highest level of craftsmanship and a sense of effortless movement.
I create my bridal couture using only the most exquisite fabrics — materials that flow naturally with the body. My goal is for every bride to feel extraordinary, both inside and out. Movement and softness play a key role in every design.
A gown designed for a beach wedding in Ibiza, for example, may be crafted from 30 meters of flowing chiffon silk — brought to life by the warm breeze, moving effortlessly around the bride.

Freedom & Quality
My work is not just my profession — it is my lifestyle. I weave my creativity with my passion for life and share this with every bride I design for.
The women who feel drawn to my work are often adventurous, self-aware, and confident in who they are. They value quality, design, and the freedom to express themselves fully.
Creativity is the Ultimate Act of Freedom
For women who tell their own story — and inspire others by doing so — my designs are made to fit not just their body, but their spirit.
